Temperature correction factor

According to physics, any liquid exposed to temperature influence will have influence in volume as well. The more the temperature will increase, the more the liquid fuel volume will expand so it will occupy more space, and vice versa when the temperature will decrease because the fuel will shrink. Most of the liquid fuel counter machines do not detect such expansion or shrinkage of the liquid fuel, counting only the volume of the fuel at the current temperature. By an agreement, the international selling of the fuel solved this problem by applying a temperature correction factor. The FCT did set a standard temperature to sell the fuel which is 15.555 C equal to 60 F. which is not obligatory to transfer to the end user in most countries. That’s why, some companies buy the fuel with a balance ( corrected volume considering the temperature and density) and then sell the fuel in the natural temperature which is not the correct volume if the natural temperature is not 15.555 C or 60 F. the application which you now know all the details you need to know in 2 points of view, how much should be paid or how much should be received. If you receive first , apply FCT then pay later,, or pay first, apply FCT then receive later. If the atmospheric temperature is applied then you will get an approximate result, but if the contact temperature is applied you will get more accurate result. We expect that if the authorities are informed about that, then they will improve it in their countries as other countries have already done (Honduras), the law imposes the FCT for the final consumer. Thereby forming a perfect trinomial in the fuel market. Which the Chilean Holding companies use :

* 100% delivery quality, from a discharge to another, by Chilean invention called Quality seal ‘MEPD’ S. Pat. Inv. CL #2015-20888.

Preventing fuel theft

Currently, there are various ways in which fuel tank truck’s thefts take place in different parts of the world. All these are unable to be performed due to the QSO invention:
1.) Relief Valves Area (A.P.I.):
 
a. – Through gravity, by reducing adapters that are installed in these valves that allow evacuation when the truck is being held in the time of a red traffic light (about two minutes), not detected by GPS. For this purpose a pick up truck is installed parallel to the tank (known as the "ambulance") with 200 liter drums that receive the fuel.
b. - When valves have an electronic safety sensor in its opening lever that warns when you open the drain plug of this valve, the manufactured nuts and / or screws A.P.I. of this valve are loosened, draining the fuel to the outside, not activating the electronic sensor by the non-manipulation of its lever.
c. - The tank truck back to its base: As the fuel contained in tanks has already been paid and duly received by check and dispatch guide in hands of the driver and signed by an end user, the remaining "residue" is moved to another tank, which often reaches between 50-2000 liters per 5000 liters tank, and 80% in this area through API discharge valves, with or without the approval of the employer or the tank truck owner, performing a transaction between the employer and the driver to a lower price.
d. - According to the slope of the tank in it’s unload (transverse or longitudinal), residues remain inside the compartments, which are subtracted on the road back.
2. Superior Manhole Area (upper hatch):
a. - As the hatches are composed of several pieces and parts, and have a greater variety of ways to subtract fuel, we will analyze them from outside-in:
1.- Clamp bolt that maintains the hatch fastened to the hatchway mouth / collar of the tank.
2.- Hinge pin for the hatchway cover.
3.- Safety hinge pin for the hatchway cover.
4.- Bolts to test for leakage and water tightness.
5.- Locknut for optic sensor installed on hatchway platform.
6.- Locknut for ventilation valve installed on hatchway platform.
7.- Hatchway cover.
3 Double Area bulkhead (inner space between two compartments):

When you see a tank stretched and large, this does not mean that we are upon a single inner compartment, but it carries several compartments (2-7 compartments) inside, separated from factory with air space, called "double bulkhead".

Now, by overuse or because the truck runs over bad roads, there is a possibility that the welds of the plates that form these compartments yield and begin to leak fuel inside the "double bulkhead" in this space, balancing pressures between full cracked fuel compartment and the empty "double bulkhead" void (volume balancing and equalizing pressures)

Upon discharging the compartment, it becomes empty and the pressure equilibrium phenomenon is reversed, and the liquid fuel is returned to the compartment, usually when it is closed and the truck is on the road, removed afterwards by opening API valve
4 Area GPS and GPRS antennas (cell signal):

Understanding that the traceability of  vehicles when georeferencing companies indicate that they occupy satellites, it is also true that the same traceability is achieved with cellular antenna towers using these towers as satellites, and just like georeferencing you only need 3 towers or 3 satellites.
According to that last, we will agree and unify criteria. The GPS antenna is to indicate longitude and latitude (traceability), and GPRS antenna is to send / receive text messages with encrypted information, which then it is decrypted and the software shows the truck's location on a map.

However, if you place a foil to the GPS antenna located in the cabin of the truck tank, it disappears from the map in the software, or after installing a chip (program) that simulates tank truck fictional route, the truck can unload anywhere.

If we add that cellular coverage (GPRS) disappears by natural location (usually in mining areas), the location and / or alarms will be sent when the truck again has cellular coverage, making it impossible for the company to deliver GPS data unloading to customers in full.
Furthermore, the tanks are trailers that you can unhook from the main cabin (and the GPS and GPRS are located inside the cabin), it has been known that often only the cabin reaches to collect the check and sign the dispatch guide (or sent a private car), leaving the trailer unloading elsewhere.
You see, when it comes to stealing, there are many kinds of formulas and unexpected ways to perform it.

Why QSO?

In the transport activity of liquid products it is necessary to maintain constant control and precise handling of the product, either to prevent them from being tampered, or to control spills or improper subtractions from tanks or fuel tank trucks.

The QSO System control module can be applied to industries as diverse as ingestible products such as milk, oil or wine, or of varied industrial use, such as acids, solvents, paints, pesticides, or fuels, among many others.

How does QSO work?

The system blocks the loading / unloading channels individually with positive atmosphere, to be unlocked with 6 parameters that must be crossed in the tank as the vehicle reaches the final destination of each tank or compartment (assigned by the client company), giving qualitative and quantitative security to your client, locking back to finish the loading / unloading when moving back to its former destination.

Simultaneously (via webcam) we generate video backups of all breakouts (openings) and unsuccessful attempts to violate the "QSO System", migrating them (via WiFi) to the assigned PC.
